Hey guys, what's up? As you may already know the new single, "Smooth 4-Life" is out.
What you may NOT know is that I'm over 1/2 through working on my "making of" documentary for
"The Judgment Years". Also, on a personal front, I've been dealing with some financial hardships lately.
Which means 2016 is as much of a mystery to Me as it is for the rest of You. what i do know is
I would like to finish up Mutant Melvin's 5 & 6, as well the subsequent series of live streams in
support of My most recent release,(The Judgment Years) if that is at all possible.

Thursday, November 12, 2015:

As some of You may have already figured out,
I'm kinda taking a break from the
"Making - of' documentary to go work on this video.
Some exciting discoveries have developed in recent weeks
as I've figured out a way in which to fuse CGI with Live-Action
in what is quite possibly the cheapest way imaginable.
Although, the arduous task of going in
frame by frame comes along, but hopefully
this video will meet the Dec 6th deadline when all is said and done.

Monday, October 12, 2015:
Hey guys, how's it goin'?
I'm currently working on the video for the next single.
I've already got a couple of ideas played out and ready
to go "from script to screen". Of course, I'll have to rewrite
the script as I go along (which is alot better than the drivel
I wrote last month that barely even counts as a script) thinking
practically, here, and what I've come up so far is entirely practical.

Hey, How's it goin'? You've probably seen some pictures with weird numbers pop up lately.

I'm 3/4 of the way done with "The Judgment Years"
having just finished up tracks 5 - 8, and I can't wait
to work on the "live-action-y" bits for My next video.
Also I hope to be finishing up "Mutant Melvin 4" soon
coming up with ideas for the final scenes as we speak.
As You may or may not already know, these things
take awhile to get done, so just be patient and besides
You have My "Throw Back Thursday" Live Shows
from last summer to hold ya over, so it's all good.

Tuesday, June 2, 2015:

Hey, how's it going. Okay here's the situation - I'm almost finished with the CG for this next video.
It is the biggest one I've done to date since 2013's "Wizard of Death"
After that I can work on the next track and then, the vocal tracks for Tracks 5 - 8
So I gotta get The Video done before I can get the rest of the album done.
As for My graphic Novel, I got a couple Illustrations I wanna work on before I can move on to the next scene
and hopefully finish that up too.

Update: all this summer, I will be uploading videos every Thursday of Live Stream shows I did from last summer

Tuesday, May 5, 2015:
This month I'll be working on both the song and the video to My next single set for a possible July release.
As far as the rest of the album goes, ideally, I'd have liked to have been done by June,
but it's looking closer to August with a possible September release.
I might also be working on "Mutant Melvin" again possibly finishing up the 4th installment of the franchise.

I also regret to inform everyone that the name "Matrix Devonshire" is apparently nomore
as "the artist formerly known as Matrix" himself informed Me last night.
He goes by a different name now.

The 1st 4 tracks off of the new album titled "The Judgment Years" have been Finished!
The 1st single titled "Euphoria" comes out THIS FRIDAY!
and then it's Back to the Studio for tracks 5 - 8
and as far as "mutant Melvin 4" is concerned, I'll work on that whenever I find the time.

Thursday, March 5, 2015:
I plan to take a little break, this time, from the video as well as "Mutant Melvin 4",
so I can go work on the rest of the new album.
Songs 3 & 4, to be exact, which are a couple faster songs.
I may revisit the video sometime later when I've recorded the vocal tracks
to all 4 of the first new songs since "Wizard of Death".
As far as the graphic novel is concerned, I'll probably get back to that
when a new idea hits me like a ton-o-bricks.
When that's happens, I'll keep you posted.

Bill Ulsh here with another Update.
I'm 2 songs into the new album and I haven't even gotten vocal tracks done yet.
However due to some financial setbacks, it looks like I'll be taking a little break from working on the album for awhile,but in the meantime, I'll be working on Mutant Melvin 4 and the video to one of the new songs which is decidedly gonna be the 1st single, probably.
No release date has been set as of yet but I'll keep You posted.

Wednesday, January 7, 2015:
We're beginning work on the new album.
So far, we have the album covers to 2 singles and a video for one of them already pre - visualized.
I'm trying some new effects on the video itself in test footage, seeing what works and what doesn't.
Not sure when the 1st single will be finished or released yet, but I'm hoping to complete the new album
by June, or sometime this coming summer.
As for Mutant Melvin 4, I haven't worked on the details yet, but it will pick up where" Mutant Melvin 3: Rodent Man's Curse" left off.

I'm afraid I've got some bad news mixed with good news.
The Bad News: As of yesterday, My computer's monitor decided to go all weird on Me
with wrong colors. Green dots and lines all over the screen and what's supposed be white is now some weird pinkish - purple color. The only way I'm dealing with this at the moment is using a "Windows High-Contrast" theme so I can at least read stuff (albiet monochromatically) in green text on black background. This means that the new album as well as "Mutant Melvin 4" will have to be put on hold for awhile until I can save up for a new laptop.
In other news, just recently I had trouble paying for this very website due to somebody jacking My old debit card, but thankfully My bank gave me a new one and now that "Debit Card Drama" is hopefully over.

The Good News: Matrix Devonshire's "Me and Roach" video and single for His new album
"Plain Hamburger (with Everything on it)", featuring Your's truly as SkiiDz the Roach debuts next month around Christmas, so be on the lookout for that. Despite the monitor failure I experienced yesterday, I managed to record some extra footage for the video.
Also Trans-Giving (where we watch the entire 1st Transformers Trilogy on Thanksgiving) is still going to happen in spite of everything that's happened.

Well, believe it or not, folks, I was still working on the video for 'All I Wanna Do" which is due out this Wednesday. Never have I worked on something this close to its release date.
Had a few issues along the way because apparently, AVS Video Editor couldn't handle the awesomeness, but I assure the final video is finished and is looking absolutely beau-ti-mous.

In other news, My air conditioner ran out of coolant/freon recently, so I'm having to finish My series of live-streaming shows in nearly 90 degree weather. The good news, however, is: I finally got My 1 gallon of fog juice, so I can now 'Fire Muh Lazors". So, be on the lookout for that at My next show.

All I Wanna Do is Play Some Shows

Good News, everyone. The Official Video for "All I Wanna Do" is now complete and is set for a mid July release. Now some of You have probably already heard the song on Youtube or UStream at some point in time, but now it finally HAS an official video. Ever since I'd heard the original sometime on a summer day in 1994, I've always wanted to do My own version of this song, and now, 2 decades later, that idea has become a reality,
and that reality will come to fruition July 16, 2014.

In other news, I plan to do some live streaming shows this summer on sites such as UStream (of course) and Stageit between June 18th and September 24th, so for those of You who can't go to any physical concerts this year, You can sit back and chill with the Ulsh-Man. So, I'll see You on the "Virtual - Stage".

B.T.W. I got finally got to talk to Matrix Devonshire recently about any updates on the video. He's decided to put that on hold so He can work on the rest of His 2nd album.Hopefully soon You'll get to see Me - actin' a fool in not only one, but 2 videos this summer.

Little Website update

You may've noticed some changes to the site.
The intro page that I had since last September is gone,
and the blog page has now become part of the home page,
like it should've been in the first place.
I'm thinking I might later change the theme at some point.
In other news I've got the video half finished.
The track itself is already taken care of,
as well as the album cover for the non-album single "All I Wanna Do".
Who knows I might come up with a theme based on that,
until then we'll see, but for now I've got 1/2 a video to film.

You might remember a few months back I mentioned something about a certain cover song I'd be doing later on. Well I'll be filming it this month, but First, I've got to hit the studio again and lay down the vocal track for it. Not to mention working on the CGI parts for the video. This is a song (and video) I've been wanting to for a long time now, ever since I'd heard it on the radio nearly 2 decades ago, so I'm personally gonna "have some fun" doing this. In other news I've already had My birthday. Pics on both My facebook and twitter pages respectively.Although we might upload them here, in the gallery, as well. Well boys and girls, it looks like spring has officially sprung
as I plan to get back to work on "Mutant Melvin 3" and hopefully finish it .
Of course I realize that this also finishes the 1st trilogy as well.

Recently I had just filmed the 1st part of the video "Me and Roach" for Matrix Devonshire. Which turned out better than expected. So I've decided to put "All I Wanna Do" and "Mutant Melvin 3" on the backburner for now so I can finish filming the rest of the video. No word yet as to how things are going on Matrix's side of things but I plan to finish the second part soon. A Couple Things

Hey, how's it going? I know - it's been awhile, hasn't it. Well, i just wanted to update You on a couple things.
1. Me and Matrix (Devonshire) will be filming the video for
His upcoming single "Me and Roach" sometime this March.

2. Another video I'll be working on is My cover of the
1994 Sheryl Crow hit "All I Wanna Do"
which is due out this summer.

3. I've also (albeit rather slowly) been working on "Mutant Melvin 3".
In related news, Adobe Acrobat officially closes it's "proverbial doors"
as of January of next year, so what does that mean for the future of the
"Mutant Melvin" franchise? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Remember at the begging of 2013, I said: "thing are about to get interesting"??? Well, That was about My 1st actual music video for "Wizard of Death", and I have a feeling things are about to get even more interesting. That's right... a follow -up video. My time off to work on "Mutant Melvin 3" officially ends sometime this week as I'm working on the video for My next single... "5 Card Stud".

So, I've decided to take a break from working on My next video to start work on the next "Mutant Melvin" graphic novel, which as far as I know, picks up where "Extreme Summer" left off. Not sure if I want to "write first, draw later", but I usually like to have a story mapped out so that way I have a good idea of what I'm working with, and other times the illustrations just come to Me almost instantaneously. Don't worry, I'm still gonna film My next video as well. Can't say what it is yet, but enjoy the new album coming out this Tuesday.

The "Mad Concert Pianist" just finished production this week on His sophomore effort "Wizard of Death, which is slated for a late September release.
Also,a new video is already in the works on and off, as well as a new Mutant Melvin" graphic novel. (Maybe) We'll see what the future holds. - Bill Ulsh
