I know I didn't mention this previously but, I had become a born again Christian recently as of late July last year which has also influenced the writing of at least one song on this album that I'm now taking a break from because a family member of mine had an appendectomy recently and I've kinda gotta take care of her.

In othenews,my autobiography "Recording My Life" is available now in the "Biography" section of this very website. So go ahead and give that a read whenever you find the time.

There's much to learn about me from it. 

Also I plan to do that fictional alternate reality version of it called "Alternate Discography" which is basically "what if... I had released music at a younger age and what would it sound like?"

Of course I'm also taking a break from working on "Wizard of Death (comic mode) vol. 2"  as well but the first one's available. 
 

Saturday, October 15, 2022 
Recording has officially begun on album 4 "through the sands of time".  
It still has nine songs yet again  
Due to the scrapping of one song (which may later return as a bonus track.) 

The first song instrumental tracks just been completed. 

Vocals on that will be done later. Not really sure when I'll get to any of the other songs yet but my estimated finish time for this album was originally February of 2023. 

The album's originally set for an August or September 2023 release date.

Tuesday, July 12, 2022:

Despite some delays and setbacks
(such as certain songs having to be scrapped),
I'm pleased to say that I'll be ready to record 
some time in October after finally having the track
listing fully established and the singles/music videos
all ironed out. (The album now 8 songs NOT 9, now)

In other news, the 1st issue of "Wizard of Death (Comic
Mode)" is now available to read in the "Comics" section. 

 As well as the much anticipated autobiography
(Yet to be titled or released) is coming soon.

Some changes have been made to this album
and with everything going on in My personal life
right now, I've decided to take a break from
recording this one.

In other news, The "Wizard of Death" comic is still
going strong although changes have been made to
that as well. Might chop up the 1st story into different parts.

Tuesday, March 8, 2022:

Nine songs have been written for this album and recording for it has already begun also we have a title -

"Through the sands of time".

I'm still working on the title track for this one so far I've gotten the instrument tracks for it done and the album art for the both the singles as well as the album already figured out.

In other news I'm still working on The wizard of death comic as well as this album.

And I might figure out what the music video for the title track looks like but for now all you really need to know is that by next year album number four through the sands of time is on its way.

I'm back to working on the comic for now. 

I also have a couple of songs written for a possible new album but,
nothing official yet. 

I know it's taking me awhile to get to these things but I'm getting there, surely. 

Also, I'm thinking of (maybe) doing another set of remake albums 

For the songs that didn't make it on "Trilogy".

I figured some of you are probably wondering
"what the hell is that Ulshman been up to lately?" 

 Well I've been working on The "Wizard of Death" comic which may
hopefully (one day) become a movie. Heck… maybe even a full trilogy. 

While working on this comic, I've come to realize that this might be
the gateway to another animation style I hadn't previously thought of
and even the idea of a fictionalized version of myself has also been floating
around for awhile as well but, let's just see where this "Wizard of Death" comic takes Me for now. 

Also I've been kicking around ideas for a possible forth studio album.
I have a couple songs written but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep 'em around or not.

How's it goin'? I know it's been awhile since My last blog update
and I gotta tell ya - this new place looks fuckin' NICE!!!

Now that I have something passing for a home studio almost set up
(kinda the way I want it), I should be back working on the projects
that I said I would, previously. 

 These projects include The Autobiography,
"Alternate Discography" & picking up where I left off
with the "Wizard of Death" comic. 

 The rest of My family and I aren't even fully unpacked yet. I haven't even transferred to a new place of work yet because we're still trying to figure that out.

Remember that one "Wizard of Death" comic 
I was working on last year? 
(that one I scrapped for the shorter version?) 

Well, I'm doing that one again because now 
I have a little more time to work on it. 
(at least up to the part where I left off). 

In other news, another music video comes out today. 

This time, it's a live-action remake of "Euphoria". 

Also on the back burner - "Classic Edition" versions 
of songs that didn't make it on last year's "Trilogy" album. 

I plan to use "vocal de-aging" to showcase what these 
albums would sound like had I released music in My 20's.

Thursday, January 14, 2020: 

The live action re edit of "Smooth 4 - Life" 
is now available. 

I'm possibly working on an autobiography 
(that branches off into alternate realities) 

And remaking more songs into the "Classic Edition" style
(and maybe doing a little "vocal de aging")
to showcase what they would sound like had
I released music in My 20's rather than My 30's.
I'm kinda hoping to do My entire discography this way. 
I call it the "Alternate Discography" project.

As for livestreams, I might be looking for a new place
to host them as I feel Twitch might not be too kind
with Their DMCA policies.

Wednesday, October 14, 2020: 

Okay so "Wizard of Death: Story Mode" is finished and available now
in the "Comics" section as well as "Sultry Queen (Full Band Edit)"
and the unofficial remakes including the 30th anniversary cover of "Enter Sandman"
might wave to wait until Their respective (and pre - planned) release dates,

I have another project in mind (involving old demo tapes)
for the future but depending on what happens after the election,
I may not be able to get to that one right away (if at all).

Tuesday, August 25, 2020: 

It's 5 days before Mutant Melvin's fictional and canonical birthday (He'd 40 this year). 

I'm already 2 songs in to writing a potential 4th studio album
which I'm taking a break from for awhile also,
I put "Wizard of Death: Story Mode" on hiatus
until I decide what to do with it.
On the live side of things, I'm still streaming.

Tuesday, March 17, 2020: 

This album is now available on all platforms having just come out
on Leap Years Day (or somewhere around there).
The 2nd single  "5 Card Stud (Classic Edition)" 
also comes out today and I'm working on
the music videos for "Sultry Queen" sometime this week.
I'm also still redesigning the comics as well.

Wednesday, February 12, 2020: 

I've just wrapped up post production on this album and now, 
It's ready to go by Leap Years Day. 

I'm working on the music videos for "5 Card Stud" & "Sultry Queen", currently
and I've even re-tweaked the comics to look a little more like, well, COMICS.
Not to mention, performance videos of each song from the album (both versions)
including the 3 "guitar songs" from "The Judgment Years" as an encore. 

Looks like I've got My work cut out for Me, here.

Tuesday, January 14, 2020: 

I'm back with the mixing and mastering of this album.
And after that, I'm looking to rework the 1st single and music
video "Wizard of Death (Classic Edition)" when I eventually get around to it.

I also have a couple of other ideas for sometime after the album's release date
which I think I can do in between the other music videos that I plan to remake.

Wednesday, December 18, 2019: 

I'm halfway through the mixing and mastering of this album.
I even went back and did the "Classic Edition" as well so,
be on the lookout for a rework of the 1st single and music
video "Wizard of Death (Classic Edition)" when I eventually
get around to it. I'll be taking time off for the holidays before
getting back to the other half of this album and then working
on said single sometime before the album's release date.

Tuesday, November 12, 2019: 

I have just finished production on the "Full Band Edit" and effectively, this double concept album now
which is set for a possible Leap Year Day 2020 release. 

In other related news, the 1st single and music video 
"Wizard of Death (Classic Edition)" has just come out today.
It basically a remake of the 2013 original with some updated graphics (but nothing too amazing).
Meanwhile I'm doing reshoots for the Full Band Edit version.

Thursday, October 10, 2019: 

Due to a summer that went on way longer than it should have,
I'd taken time off and during that time, I reworked "Mutant Melvin"
a bit here and there adding new artwork and changing some
names of characters and adding a few new ones. 

I'm 3 quarters of the way done with the "Full Band Edit"
and getting ready to film the 1st set of music videos
"Wizard of Death" (both versions) soon.

Thursday, September 12, 2019: 

Due to the weather conditions (as well as other factors),
I've decided to take more time off.
I'll probably get back to work on this
album sometime in October, hopefully. 

I do however, have a surprise in the "Comics" section
While We wait on things to cool down.

Thursday, August 15, 2019: 

Now that weather conditions are kind of ideal, I can now get back to work
on this album and guess what?!? I'm already half way done.
That's right - "Trilogy (Classic Edition)" is finished as of last week and
I'm ready to move on to production for the "Full Band Edit" but before I do that,
I'm looking to film My cover video using the split screen technique. This time
it's another Metallica song - "Enter Sandman" Which I plan to get done before FBE is complete.
 

Wednesday, July 17, 2019: 

Now that I'm half way done with post-production for the "Classic Edition",
I've decided to take a little break until the summer heatwave lets up
(with an ideal hi of no more than 78 degrees) but in the meantime, I'm gonna
upload some videos. The 1st of which was uploaded today for the 10th Anniversary
of My 1st ever upload using My current recording software which was a cover of
"For Whom the Bell Tolls" which I uploaded to Myspace (and yes - I was still using Myspace back in 2009. Don't judge Me.)
I also figured before I start filming My parts for the music videos, I might as well get good at this split screen technique
by practicing on cover song first so that way, I know what the hell I'm doing when I get to any originals.
 

Tuesday, June 18, 2019: 

I'm finally done with the vocal tracks and ready to
move onto post-production for the "Classic Edition" 
(the vocal tracks, mainly) which I can then
copy over to the "Full Band Edit". 

All I have to do after that is record the Synth and Bass tracks
(Actual Guitar using an effects pedal). 

I'm  also ready to move onto the next phase of pre production
for the music video to "Wizard of Death (Full Band Edit)" 

Cant believe I'm almost done, except for filming the music videos.

Wednesday, May 15, 2019: 

I'm finally done with the instrument tracks for the "Classic Edition" and now working on the vocal tracks, 
parts of which I can then copy over to the "Full Band Edit" cutting down the workload significantly. 

I've  also just begun pre production for the music video to "Wizard of Death (Full Band Edit)"
which will be "different" from the "Classic Edition".  
In other news, the "Shows" page has now been changed to "Release Dates" to know
when a certain album, music video or anything else related is coming out.

Wednesday, April 17, 2019:

I'm over half way done with the instrument tracks for this album and also, 
I'm done with the pre production for these music video remakes I mentioned in a previous blog.
3 of which are gonna be singles for My upcoming concept album "Trilogy" using various VFX,
while the other 3 are just straight up remakes for the hell of it and also because, (as mentioned in "The Blackberry Monologues")
I've always wanted them to be live-action anyway. (stock-footage counts as "live-action", right?)

Plus, I'm back to uploading old livestreams from last year and their respective sound checks (in separate playlists) on YouTube.

I'm still uploading parts of My documentary "The Blackberry Monologues" on Vimeo due to it's weekly upload limit.
In other news I'm finally getting around to recording the concept album "Trilogy"
after finishing up pre-production for some music videos in support of said album.
Now these aren't gonna be some George Lucas "Special Edition" remix BS
(where I take the originals and add a bunch of new stuff), They're full on REMAKES of old music videos beginning with
"Wizard of Death" and then live action versions of  "5 Card Stud" through "Smooth 4-Life" (including My cover of "All I Wanna Do")
